Spring 2011 Forecast

"The Haute List"

Fashion Week is over,but the talk of the town is still the hot looks and cool makeup trends that will be spotted on the streets next year for Spring 2011.

Here is a list of my predictions of what will be the most copied ,and most envied looks.

#1 The Half Moon Nail Look (Butter, London) Created by Nonie Crème. Yummy Mummy , short press-on nails, &  Jack Black above the bottom cuticle. Nail art looks to be a huge trend for Spring. I love the return to glamour!

#2 The "Girl-Girl" look by Band of Outsiders (Shiseido Cosmetics) Created by Dick Page
Shimmering Rouge Lipstick in Golden Dragon. The perfect uptown girl look.

#3 Rock star Chic. The Orange Eye (Derek Lam) & Bold Eye Shadow Colors (Victoria Beckham) I think this look will be copied this spring, maybe by Sephora. Famous for bold color. Estee Lauder's Tom Pecheux created look for Derek Lam. #4 I have always loved Guerlain, and I think their shades are always trending. Their Spring 2010 collection is beautiful, elegant, and gives a fresh look for spring. The eye shadow palettes and blush éclat along with the re-introduction of "The Meteorites" will be huge this Spring/Summer.

#5 Coral Lips (Vena Cava) By Christian McCulloch for Mac Cosmetics. Trend from last year, but I am seeing more daring shades. I think this will carry over to Spring.  The lip color is a bright, peachy matte. Get the look with "Good to go" Pro Longwear Lipcreme by MAC.

#6 Sleek hair, pony tails and braids. (Christian Siriano Beauty Spring 2010)Hair, by Aveda. Aveda Air Control TM Hair Spray, Aveda Pure Abundance TM Hair Potion, Aveda Light Elements TM Texturizing Creme.  I use Aveda products on my hair and always love the feel,and the way it keeps my hair healthy. LAMB was also showing braids at the last night of Fashion Week. Also try Bumble & Bumble Thickening Spray. Another great look is the slightly "messy" hairstyle (Narcisco Rodriquez). I recommend using a volumizing spray or gel to  gently lift hair at the roots. One to try? Tigi Catwalk Your Highness Thickening Gel Cream and Root Boost Spray.

#7 The Fresh All American Look (Tommy Hilfiger Spring Summer 2010 Beauty) Lisa Butler. Mac Cosmetics, Crushed Metal Collection. I believe this look will carry over as well. Loving the look of Lorick. Gently beachcomed hair, a hint of bronze on cheeks. Try Lorick blush in Peony to capture the look.

Let your inner "Diva" shine through! Go Glam, Try a sunny Barbie bronzed look,or go Rocker Girl with slightly disheveled hair and neon eyes or nails.
