I am loving the latest look from LORAC. These sultry hues were featured in an earlier article of mine for Beautystat, but I never had the chance to swatch the shades personally. For my review check out the link here: http://www.beautystat.com/
Luckily the sample kit did arrive, (I waited for almost a month!) so I decided to feature the set again here so that you can get an idea of just how gorgeous these colors really are.
The "Touch Me,Tease Me, TANtalize Me" Collection is a set of two limited edition must haves. I was sent the "Hot Off The Red Carpet" look to sample.
The set contains 2 exclusive eyeshadow duos, a limited edition TANtalizer Baked Bronzer,a full size 3D lipgloss in a sexy rose gold shade. It comes tucked inside a savvy chic gold "Blingy Bag" that can be used later on as an evening clutch or makeup bag. And yes, this is just the right size for fitting into your purse, not too big, and holds the collection well, with a little room to spare.Retail price is $36. Available at Ulta, Ulta.com, Sephora, and Sephora.com.
If you're a red head like me, these are perfect for giving just a hint of glow to fair skin, and playing up blue or green eyes. The shadows are buttery smooth and go on easily, so a light hand is all that is needed. The quality is really there. This collection will last all summer.
What I like most about this collection is that it isn't over the top on glitter. Anyone can wear these shades, then just add a bit more for evening wear. The colors are perfect for a breezy office look or a day at the pool. Add a bit more drama by adding more brown as a liner smudged at lash line for a smoldering date-night look.
Another great tip to try is to add a gilded eyeliner to the look. One of my favorites is Aqua Eyes by Makeup Forever in 1L-Copper. This has all day staying power, is waterproof, doesn't run or fade and is suitable for even sensitive eyes. Check out the website here: http://www.makeupforever.com/
These shades will bring out the golden goddess in you!
Until next time~
