Self Magazine Healthy Beauty Awards 2014

For the past few years, I have been lucky enough to be chosen as a beauty product tester for Self Magazine.

Every year, they have a special article dedicated to the best products, that are all tested by women from around the globe.The results of those tests are posted in the May edition,which, if you hurry, you can still grab on newsstands.

Products range from body lotions,to skincare to makeup to hair products and everything in between.

My category was skincare. Most of the time,these products come just in the nick of time. The gals at Self Magazine seem to know my "fussy"skin pretty well!

Here are the products that I got to test,and my favorites of the bunch. 

 Jurlique Calendula Redness Rescue- This was my favorite of the products I tried. It worked to relieve any redness my skin might have and the product wasn't heavy, just right for my sensitive skin. I keep coming back to these products year after year. $46 At Sephora.com

Renee Rouleau Skin Recovery Lotion (Oil Free) This is a great, gentle moisturizer for all types of skin. The only reason why I didn't continue using it was that it didn't give me enough moisture. $39.50 At https://www.reneerouleau.com/products/skin-recovery-lotion

Skin Again Relief and Rescue Cream-Perfect for rashes,insect bites, itching.See my previous post! You wouldn't believe the results. $38 At http://skinagain.com/product/rescue

Nourish Organic Face Lotion, was also one of my favorites. Simply put, I loved the way it pampered my skin,without any harsh chemicals. $21.99 At http://nourishorganic.com/collections/face
