Just Ducky

Over the past few weeks, I have been in training for a new project at work, and have not had a moment to check in or post any new stories.

I am hoping to add a few more posts for the month over the next few days, but alas, I've been a bad blogger.

Spring is almost upon us,and little by little the world is emerging from the drab dark shades of winter, to the soft pastels, and brights of the season.

One of the trends I am seeing is soft sherbert colors like peach and mint green in everything from dresses, coats, and even nail color. I will be updating shortly with some new nail shades to consider.

In the meantime, I'm hoping that these little guests will brighten your day.

The rain has made us all feel a little like ducks around here, but these little guys seem to be enjoying  hanging out near my workplace, greeting those that passed by with a waddle and a quack.

Mama duck seemed to like me, and would follow me where ever I'd go.

I'd say they had a bit of their own "style" mixing soft white with hints of brown, green, and navy blue. Lol!

While I was out and about, I purchased these great all weather boots at Famous Footwear.

I love how soft they are,and how they can be worn in so many ways.

These are Sketchers, and are on sale right now for $39.99 (hurry!) A great buy for our plucky, less than spring-like days.

Until next time~

Tranquil Moments

Ever notice how a cat can sleep anywhere? They can simply curl up in the most mundane places, and be at ease.

It's hard to be stressed out when watching a cat go about its everyday routine. For them, life is all about comfort. There are times when I wish we could all enjoy a quiet moment to just reflect and appreciate the joy of simply being.

When was the last time you sat back and just took in the world? I love falling asleep to the sound of the rain on my window, driving on a sunny day,or walking through fresh snow.

Even watching the sunrise can bring a smile to my face.

Perhaps we should all adapt the nature of the cat, and learn to find the best in each day.

Until next time~
